Preserving the past. Supporting local creativity. Building a stronger future.

The Sierra Blanca Arts & Heritage Initiative is a rural cultural revitalization effort led by Paso del Norte Arts. Our goal is to celebrate the people, stories, art, history, and character of Sierra Blanca while creating new reasons for travelers to stop, explore, and connect with the community.

Located just off I-10, Sierra Blanca has a unique opportunity to turn existing places into cultural destinations through local art, historic preservation, youth programming, public installations, books, photography, and community events.

Our early focus includes:

• Supporting local artists and photographers

• Activating existing spaces with exhibitions and installations

• Promoting Sierra Blanca’s railroad and ranching history

• Creating opportunities for young people to participate in the arts

• Supporting local businesses through cultural tourism

• Building partnerships with residents, property owners, artists, nonprofits, and donors

We are not trying to recreate another town.

We are working to reveal what makes Sierra Blanca special.

Help Us Build It

Paso del Norte Arts is currently seeking artists, collaborators, sponsors, foundations, and individual donors who believe in the power of arts and culture to strengthen rural communities.

Support the Sierra Blanca Arts & Heritage Initiative.

Art. History. Community. Opportunity.
